CollegeAge

The Block is a place where college students and young adults grow in their faith through a group discussion format.

If you are in college, in graduate school, out of college and working, in the military, or taking a break from any or all of the above, and if you are between the ages of 18 and 25ish, The Block is for you!

The Block meets 7:30 p.m. Thursdays at Bryson Hall, 5 E. Perry St.

The Block lasts for one hour. During this hour we will worship, and we will have a discussion about what it looks like to navigate our culture as a flawed person who happens to be a follower of Jesus. Think of this as a time to explore what Jesus said and how he lived – with dialogue about race, gender, sexual orientation, theology, truth, art, family, happiness and contentment, scripture, the church, other religions, spirituality, and social justice.

After The Block, Bryson Hall will be open until 10:00 p.m. for coffee, ping pong, games, and more discussion.
