Name Change
Sunday, Aug. 14
Next Sunday we are changing the name of our church to Compassion Christian Church. This new name reflects who we have always been and what we do. Join us as we tell the community about our new name:
- Share the images and videos we are placing on social media.
- Use the card on your seat to invite someone to church with you next week.
- Buy a Compassion Christian t-shirt, available for purchase with card or cash in the lobby.
Lead a Life Group
All Campuses
Life is worth sharing, and that’s why we have Life Groups: small groups of people who meet each week to study the Bible and grow in faith together. If you’ve been considering leading a Life Group, now is the perfect time to sign up. We’re about to launch new, nine-week groups, and we’ll give you all the resources and support you need. Choose compassion by donating school supplies to students in need. Suggested items are pencils, crayons, notebook paper, dry erase markers, tissues and hand sanitizer. Please leave donations in the collection bin in the lobby.
Men’s Breakfast
8 - 9:30 a.m. Saturdays, Aug. 6 - Nov. 12
Adult Ministry Center, Henderson Campus
Men, join us as we study the Bible over breakfast on Saturday mornings. It’s a great way to start your weekend! A $5 donation is requested to cover the cost of the meal. No registration required.
Café Information
The Lobby, Henderson Campus
Our café serves hot and cold beverages and a range of snacks around service times. We also serve light food items such as chicken salad and hot dogs 4:30 - 6:45 p.m. before Wednesday night services. We’ll resume serving meals before Wednesday night services in the Atrium Wednesday, Aug. 17.
Student Ministry Fall Kick Off

Henderson Campus
Middle and high school students, now is the time to invite a friend to come to student programming with you. It’s the best way to end the summer, meet up with old friends and make new ones. This kickoff evening will be packed with games, high-energy worship, a great message and more. Middle school students will meet at The Link; high school students in the Adult Ministry Center.
Divorce Care

Divorce Care is a support group where you’ll find caring people who understand the issues you face and can help you find healing. These informative, relevant sessions are designed so that you can begin attending any week. Divorce Care for Kids meets at the same time in the Lighthouse building and helps children aged 5 - 12 learn to cope with the separation or divorce of their parents.
Pivot Men’s Conference
