New Service Times
Starting Sunday, June 19
Henderson Campus
Starting Sunday, June 19, we will move into the new Worship Center with a new schedule:
- Sunday services will be 9 and 11 a.m.
- Wednesday services will be 6:45 p.m.
- We’ll have children’s programming during all services.
- Programming for middle and high school students will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 11 a.m. Sundays.
If you attend services on Saturdays, thank you for doing so. Please keep coming on Saturdays through June 11. In June we will start converting the Fellowship Hall into much needed space for our nursery. That will limit our seating capacity. If you normally attend on Sundays, please come to a Saturday service for the next two weeks.
No Service Wednesday, June 15
Henderson Campus
As we move into our new Worship Center, we will need a week to move our equipment. Therefore, we won’t have a Wednesday night service for one week only on June 15.
Lake Baptisms
1 p.m. Sunday, June 12
The Lake, Henderson Campus
If you have heard, believed, repented and confessed Christ as your personal Lord and Savior but haven’t yet been baptized, we invite you to be baptized in the lake by Cam. If you would like to do this, come forward at the end of any service or visit Connecting Point.
Standing on the Word: 21 Days of Scripture Reading
1 - 9 p.m. Saturday, May 28 - Friday, June 17, and 9 a.m. - noon Saturday, June 18
New Worship Center, Henderson Campus
For hundreds of years, God’s people have read scripture aloud and experienced its transformational power. People in Jerusalem still do this as part of their worship today. Be part of speaking God’s Word out loud over the new Worship Center in the 21 days before our first service there. Sign up for 30-minute time slots at compassionchristian.com for May 28 - June 17. The last day, June 18, we’ll read through the entire Bible in three hours. No need to sign up. We’ll give you a scripture passage when you arrive.
Baby Dedication Classes
6:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11 or 9:15 a.m. Sunday, June 12
Kids Auditorium 3, Second Floor
A baby dedication ceremony is a time for parents to publicly dedicate their children to God, committing to raise them in ways that honor Him. If you would like to dedicate your child on June 26 or 29, attend one of these preparation classes. You must be a baptized member of our church. Please register at compassionchristian.com in advance of the class.
Women’s Life Group and Bible Study Facilitator Training
6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 8
Room 203, Henderson Campus
Are you interested in facilitating a women's study this fall? Come to this training session led by Sarah Huxford. This is a great opportunity to grow in your faith and encourage other women in theirs. For more information and to sign up, email Stacey.
REAL Time: Mother & Daughter Fashion Show
6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 14
Adult Ministry Center, Henderson Campus
Ladies, join us for a fun evening as we share food, fellowship and laughter. We’ll serve a summer picnic as we watch a mother and daughter fashion show. Purchase your $8 ticket at compassionchristian.com by Tuesday, June 7.
School Uniform Collection

Henderson Campus
We are collecting new and lightly used school uniforms to give to students in need in our local schools. Please leave freshly-laundered donations in the collection bin in the lobby.
