Volunteer for Easter

All Campuses

Easter is just around the corner, and we’re excited because it’s a time when people are often more receptive to invitations to come to church and hear the Gospel message. We hope you will start praying about who you will invite to an Easter service with you. We will be holding additional services Easter week so we have enough room for everyone, which means we are looking for extra volunteers to help make those services welcoming to our guests. We will also be baptizing in every service. Please sign up to volunteer at Connecting Point.

Easter Eggstravaganza

10 a.m. - noon, Saturday, March 19
Henderson Campus

Bring your whole family out for this fun Easter event. We’ll have a toddler egg hunt, an elementary-age helicopter egg drop, carnival games, prizes and more. This is a great opportunity to invite friends who don’t normally attend church to a fun event with you. We are collecting plastic eggs, bags of individually-wrapped candy or eggs pre-stuffed with candy and closed with scotch tape for this event. Please leave donations in the collection bin in Connecting Point. If you would like to volunteer, sign up at Connecting Point.

Construction Prayer

After select services, March 2, 5 and 6
Meet in the Lakeside Lobby, Henderson Campus

We are building a new worship center to make space for more people to hear about Jesus. Meet Carlton Gill, one of our former elders, immediately after the 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, 6:15 p.m. Saturday or 11 a.m. Sunday service this week to go into the construction site and pray for the lives that will be changed in this new space. This opportunity is open to everyone age 10 and older.

Men’s Breakfast

8 - 9:30 a.m. Saturdays through May 14
Adult Ministry Center, Henderson Campus

Men, join us as we study the Bible and share fellowship over breakfast. A $5 donation is requested to cover the cost of the meal. No registration required. This is a great way of getting to know other men at our church.

Foster Care Items Collection

Throughout March
Collection Bin in Connecting Point, Henderson Campus

Over 250 children are in foster care in the Savannah area. Rachel’s Bags of Hope is a local ministry that gives duffel bags containing essential items to foster children to show them that they are seen and loved. We are collecting toothpaste, toothbrushes, fleece blankets, combs and hairbrushes to put into these bags. Please leave donations in the collection bin in Connecting Point.
