New Service Times
Starting Sunday, June 19
Henderson Campus
We have nearly finished building a new Worship Center next door that will make room for your ONE, the one person you’ve been praying will come to know Jesus. Just over a month from now we will move into the new Worship Center with a new service schedule:
- Sunday services will be 9 and 11 a.m.
- Wednesday services will be 6:45 p.m.
- Children’s programming will be available during all services.
- Programming for middle and high school students will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 11 a.m. Sundays.
Standing on the Word: 21 Days of Scripture Reading
1 - 9 p.m. Saturday, May 28 - Friday, June 17, and 9 a.m. - noon Saturday, June 18
New Worship Center, Henderson Campus
For hundreds of years, God’s people have read scripture aloud and experienced its transformational power. People in Jerusalem still do this as part of their worship today. Be part of speaking God’s Word out loud over the new Worship Center in the 21 days before our first service there. Sign up for 30-minute time slots at Connecting Point for May 28 - June 17. The last day, June 18, we’ll read through the entire Bible in three hours. No need to sign up. We’ll give you a scripture passage when you arrive.
Children’s Ministry Re-Registration
All Campuses
To move up to the next age group in Kidstreet and Elevate in June, parents must re-register their children by Sunday, May 29. All parents should have received an email with instructions and a link to the online re-registration form. If you didn't receive one, contact Michele.
Collection for H.I.M.
Throughout May
Henderson Campus
Homeless Inner-city Ministry provides food and basic supplies to the homeless in downtown Savannah. Choose compassion and support this ministry by donating a backpack and basic toiletry items. Please leave all donations in the collection bin in the lobby.
Camp in the City
Monday - Friday, July 11 - 15
Effingham Campus
Camp in the City is a summer day camp for children entering grades 1-5 in the fall. They will enjoy Bible teaching and worship sessions as well as a wide range of fun activities and games. Register your child at compassionchristian.com while space is available.
Foster Mom Retreat
4 p.m. Friday, July 15 - 4 p.m. Saturday, July 16
Ebenezer Retreat Center, Rincon
If you’re an adoptive or foster mom, come to this getaway retreat where you’ll find encouragement, friendship, spiritual renewal and rest. This event is hosted by our Love One ministry.
