Join a Life Group

Life can be complicated, but sharing life with other people helps simplify it. Join a Life Group for one of our new, six-week studies. Life Groups are groups of Compassion Christians who meet in homes across the area to study the Bible, grow in their faith and develop friendships. Collection for H.I.M.

Homeless Inner-city Ministry provides food and basic supplies to the homeless in downtown Savannah. Choose compassion and support this ministry by donating a backpack and basic toiletry items. Please leave all donations in the collection bin in the lobby.
Celebrate Recovery
7 - 9 p.m. Fridays
Adult Ministry Center, Henderson Campus
Celebrate Recovery is a place where you can find healing from life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups. As you share your experiences with others and apply biblical recovery principles, you’ll grow stronger in your relationship with God and find freedom from addictive, compulsive and negative behaviors. Childcare begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Lighthouse building behind the Adult Ministry Center.
Camp in the City
Monday - Friday, July 11 - 15
Effingham Campus
Camp in the City is a summer day camp for children entering grades 1-5 in the fall. They will enjoy Bible teaching and worship sessions as well as a wide range of fun activities and games. Register your child at compassionchristian.com while space is available. The week of camp at Henderson Campus is full.
Foster Mom Retreat
4 p.m. Friday, July 15 - 4 p.m. Saturday, July 16
Ebenezer Retreat Center, Rincon
If you’re an adoptive or foster mom, come to this getaway retreat where you’ll find encouragement, friendship, spiritual renewal and rest. This event is hosted by our Love One ministry.
