How to Make a Monster Listen

Classes Start in January 2018

We have an opportunity coming up for everyone in our church to address something that almost everyone struggles with - the issue of personal finances. Money can be a monster – wreaking havoc and stress – when we don’t take control of it. The good news is that we CAN take control of our money. We CAN manage it in a purposeful, God-honoring way. Sign up to participate in a Financial Peace University class starting in January at CompassionChristian.com.

Welcome to Compassion

12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19
All Campuses

If you’re new here, come to this lunch event. You’ll have the opportunity to meet some of the pastors, hear about the vision, mission and values of our church, and find out how to become a member. We’ll provide lunch. Sign up at Connecting Point or CompassionChristian.com to help us anticipate numbers.

Adopt a Family

Henderson, East and Effingham Campuses

Choose compassion this Christmas and “adopt” a local family in need through our Lighthouse Ministry. We’ll pair you with a family and provide information about the children so you can buy gifts. You’ll meet them before Christmas, present the gifts and share the good news of Jesus with them. Sign up at Connecting Point or email Aida at areyes@compassionchristian.com.

Chasing Christmas

7 p.m. Friday - Sunday, Dec. 1 - 3 and 8 - 10
Worship Center, Henderson Campus

Bring your family and some friends to this fun Christmas musical production! Chase McLane, a young, talented singer/songwriter, begrudgingly schedules a trip home from Nashville for the annual nativity at his family’s church. But when his flight is delayed, Chase encounters a series of strangers who each reveal a glimpse of God's miracles and mysteries. When he arrives home, he realizes that this series of events may not have been a coincidence… Purchase $5 tickets at CompassionChristian.com or on the app.

Blanket and Coat Collection

Throughout November
Henderson Campus

Choose compassion and donate new or lightly used blankets or coats. We’ll give them to students in need in the local schools we support. Leave donations in the collection bin in the lobby any time in November.
