The Journey

5 - 8 p.m. Wednesday - Sunday, Nov. 30 - Dec. 4 and Dec. 7 - 11
Henderson Campus

Come to The Journey, a special Christmas event that lets you experience the Christmas story in a unique way. It’s a two-part event starting with a concert of beautiful Christmas music performed by musicians from all our campuses followed by an interactive journey as you travel to Bethlehem like Mary and Joseph did. Tickets are available at the Resource Center and at CompassionChristian.com. They make great gifts! Please plan to come the first week as we tend to draw larger crowds the second week.

Be Part of The Journey

Henderson Campus

Even better than just coming to The Journey is being part of it! Join us for our final serve day Saturday, Nov. 19, and help us finish and decorate the sets. We’ll provide lunch. There are also opportunities to serve midweek, so if you’re available to help then, email Megg. It takes over 1,000 volunteers to make The Journey happen. There are so many ways to get involved. Everyone can find a job they’ll enjoy. Sign up for your Journey Job at CompassionChristian.com.

Adopt a Family

All Campuses

Choose compassion and “adopt” a local family in need this Christmas. We’ll pair you with a family and provide information about the children so you can buy appropriate Christmas gifts. You’ll meet the family, present the gifts and share the good news about Jesus, the greatest gift of all. Sign up at Connecting Point or email Aida.

Last Wednesday Night Meal

5 - 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16
The Atrium, Henderson Campus

Our last Wednesday night meal before we take a break over the holiday season will be Wednesday, Nov. 16. Visit CompassionChristian.com for the menu and prices. We’ll start serving meals again in early January.

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection

Through Monday, Nov. 21
All Campuses

Change the life of a child by filling a shoebox with toys, games and small gifts. Samaritan’s Purse works with local churches and ministry partners in over 130 countries worldwide to deliver the boxes and share the Good News of Jesus Christ with children who wouldn’t normally receive a Christmas gift. Drop off your filled shoebox in the lobby by Monday, Nov. 21.
