The Journey is a tremendous outreach event that draws thousands to our church at Christmas. It’s also a great opportunity for YOU. Volunteering in the production is a great tradition for many families in our church, something they look forward to each year. We need thousands to serve on various teams. And as you serve, you get to know others on your team. So many life-long friendships have started as people have served side-by-side over the 10 nights of The Journey. The Journey

Come to The Journey, a special Christmas event that lets you experience the Christmas story in a unique way. It’s a two-part event starting with a concert of beautiful Christmas music performed by musicians from all our campuses followed by an interactive journey as you travel to Bethlehem like Mary and Joseph did. Tickets are available at the Resource Center and at CompassionChristian.com. They make great gifts! Please plan to come the first week as we tend to draw larger crowds the second week.

Wednesday Service Relocation During The Journey

6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 7
Adult Ministry Center, Henderson Campus

We use our Worship Center for The Journey, so services on Wednesday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 7 will be held in the Adult Ministry Center. Follow the signs for service parking. There will be no separate children’s or student programming on these two dates.

Early Bird Registration for Student Summer Camps

Wednesday, Nov. 16 - Wednesday, Nov. 23

Summer camps are special times for middle and high school students to grow in their faith in God and in their relationships with other students. Registration for 2017 student summer camps is now open. Pay the $75 deposit at CompassionChristian.com by Wednesday, Nov. 23, and get a $25 discount off the total camp cost. High school camp is June 12 - 17 and costs $330; middle school camp is July 10 - 14 and costs $305.

Adopt a Family

All Campuses

Choose compassion and “adopt” a local family in need this Christmas. We’ll pair you with a family and provide information about the children so you can buy appropriate Christmas gifts. You’ll meet the family, present the gifts and share the good news about Jesus, the greatest gift of all. Sign up at Connecting Point or email Aida.
