Sam Childers is joining us for a weekend of events including a motorcycle run, an evening event and a worship service at the Harley Davidson shop. Porn and Pizza
7 - 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7
Adult Ministry Center, Henderson Campus
This event hosted by Celebrate Recovery features a panel of speakers who will share tactics for avoiding pornography, ways to recover from pornography addictions and how to help someone who is struggling with pornography. Pizza will be provided. Childcare is available in the Lighthouse building just behind the Adult Ministry Center and begins at 6:30 p.m.
Journey Serve Days
7 a.m. - noon, Saturday, Oct. 8, Oct. 22, Nov. 5 and Nov. 19
Bethlehem set behind The Link, Henderson Campus
Come help us build and decorate the sets for this year's Journey production! We are looking for people with carpentry and building skills. Please bring tools if you have them. Ensure your name is clearly marked. Water and snacks will be provided. This serve day is not suitable for children unless they are under parental supervision.
Spiritual Parenting Class
11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Sundays, Oct. 16 - Nov. 20
The Atrium, Henderson Campus
This six-week class based on "Spiritual Parenting" by Michelle Anthony empowers parents to be the primary nurturers of their children’s faith and teaches them how to create the best environment for this. You can purchase the book in The Source bookstore, but this is not a prerequisite for the class. RSVP to elevate@compassionchristian.com if you plan to attend.
