Children of Eden Youth Production

Based on the stories in Genesis of Adam, Eve, Noah and the Father who created them, “Children of Eden” presents a humorous, heartfelt examination of an age-old conflict as parents deal with the headstrong actions of their children and the consequences that inevitably follow. A compelling story of love and the need for second chances, this musical production performed by our Youth Drama Team delivers the bittersweet but inspiring message that “the hardest part of love… is letting go.” Purchase $5 tickets at the door or in advance at CompassionChristian.com or Compassion Christian’s Resource Center.

Mac ‘n’ Cheese Collection

Choose compassion and donate boxes of mac ‘n’ cheese for our PACK Ministry, one of our local partners that distributes packets of food to children in need in our local schools. Please leave donations in the collection bin in the lobby any time in September.
Spiritual Growth Classes

Take your faith to the next level in this series of interactive classes. You’ll find your purpose in life, grow closer to Jesus and learn how to lead others to Him. Spiritual Parenting Class
9 - 10:30 a.m. Sundays, Sept. 24 - Oct. 29
Rehearsal Hall, Henderson Campus
This six-week class based on "Spiritual Parenting" by Michelle Anthony empowers parents to be the primary nurturers of their children’s faith. The book is available at the Resource Center but is not a prerequisite for the class. Email Kelsey at krussett@compassionchristian.com if you plan to attend.
Parent/Child Dedication Classes
11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 1 or 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4
Hospitality Room, Henderson Campus
If you would like to dedicate your child aged 2 or under to God in a dedication ceremony on Oct. 22 or 25, attend one of these preparation classes. You must have been baptized by immersion and be a member of our church. Register for a class at CompassionChristian.com by Thursday, Sept. 21.
