Machine Gun Preacher Movie Night

6:30 - 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9

“Machine Gun Preacher” is the true story of Sam Childers, a drug-dealing criminal whose life took a radical turn when he met Jesus. After witnessing the LRA kidnapping children and turning them into child soldiers, Childers, played by Gerard Butler, embarked on a mission to rescue as many of them as possible. Sam Childers will be speaking in person at an event at our Henderson Campus Saturday, Oct. 15.


Love One Heart Gallery

If you have a heart for children in foster care or have ever considered adoption, come to this photo gallery event that raises awareness of the needs of children in foster care and showcases children who want to find a forever-family. Youth Production: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Watch the Bible come to life as our middle and high school students perform this much-loved Broadway musical. Joseph enjoys all the luxuries of being his father’s favorite son, but he is sold into slavery in a foreign land by his 11 jealous brothers. This captivating musical production tells the unforgettable story of his false accusation and imprisonment and subsequent rise to great honor and achievement. Savannah United in Prayer

4 - 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11
Forsyth Park Band Stand

Join with churches from across Savannah for this interdenominational prayer event led by a team of local pastors to pray for our city.  We’ll ask God to bring hope and healing to the lost and hurting in Savannah and pray in faith that more people would come to know Him.


Here’s My Story

9 a.m. - noon, Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 14 and 15
Room 203, Henderson Campus

This two-day event for anyone aged 65 and over is an opportunity to share your life story with others of a similar life stage. Join us for two mornings of fellowship, worship and sharing. Coffee and donuts will be provided. If you plan to attend, sign up at Connecting Point or CompassionChristian.com by Monday, Sept. 12. We also invite you to join us for a Dutch lunch at Macaroni Grill 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15.
