Kenner’s Story
Before I came to know Jesus, I was depressed. I drank heavily and used drugs. One of my friends went to Downtown. She steered me away from drugs and alcohol and toward God. She invited me to church with her. The atmosphere welcoming, the people were friendly, the music was wonderful. I was able to understand the services and relate the messages to my life. I accepted Christ and got baptized. I can’t say enough about how giving my life to God has impacted my lifestyle and my overall happiness. God works!
