Making Change

As you ask God for His favor on your finances, you can commit to make some or all of these changes:

  • Invest in your spiritual growth through weekly worship, Bible study and service.
  • Manage your God-given resources in God-honoring ways.
  • Take the 90-Day Tithing Challenge or continue to be a biblical tither, giving 10 percent or more of your income in 2017.
  • Give your time, talents and financial resources in consistent, systematic ways, putting God first in all aspects of your life.
  • Take steps to get out of debt.

Tithing

The word “tithe” means tenth or tenth part. Tithing is the practice of giving to the Lord at least 10 percent of your income. It is an act of worship, done to honor God and to remind us that He is the ultimate giver.

Giving

Many people find that setting up recurring gifts online enables them to tithe consistently. Learn more about giving online or setting up a recurring gift here.
