Oklahoma Disaster Response
Trip Dates: Friday, June 7 – Saturday, June 15
Planning Meeting: 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, Henderson Campus Lobby
A massive tornado tore through Moore, OK, leaving many families grieving. Many lost loved ones, including children. Many lost their homes, their vehicles, their businesses. Many lives have been shattered.
As you know, our Father is close to the brokenhearted. Those who mourn will be comforted.
We play an important role in providing that comfort. We have made choosing compassion our rally cry, and once again, we are showing the love of Jesus to those who need it most.
We are organizing a team to go to Moore, OK. The trip dates are Friday, June 7, through Saturday, June 15. If you are interested in knowing more about how you can be on this team or how you can help, please come to a planning meeting next Wednesday evening at 6:30 in the Henderson Campus lobby.
