Renee’s Story
I am a single mother of a 2-year-old. I thought I could do this alone without help from my dad or mother or even Jesus--I was WRONG.
After going to church for a few months and learning so much of God and the Bible I knew then that I was ready to change to become a new person and be completely brand new. So, Easter weekend I made the decision to be baptized again. I knew I was ready and I wanted Jesus in my life as well as in my heart.
Jesus has made me see that I cannot live without him. I need him in my life completely. He makes me whole and he loves me. I see that now and I have faith in him to guide me where I need to be. I now have a job, I own my car and I can provide my son with what he needs. Life is just great now!
My mother and I had been at Compassion Christian before and really liked it. Cam is a great pastor and there is never a dull service. I love to sing the songs along with the band and congregation.
The church just kind of keeps calling you back; it’s such a great place. The kidstreet is great with my son. He loves to go and play with the other kids. I love the people and the environment and now I pray for everyone and I just love Jesus. I think it has made me a better person and a better mother and a brand new me!
