Ryan’s Story
"My mom, dad and older brother are Christians. My little sister says she has accepted Jesus into her heart, too. I had always heard stories about Jesus, but now that I have accepted Jesus in my heart, it feels different.
"We came to Compassion Christian because my mom and dad wanted to find a church close to our house. After Sunday school one day, I had a lot of questions. I went to my mom and dad and we talked about Jesus and what He did for me. My mom took out her Bible and we read verses together. I knew that I was a sinner. I prayed and I asked Jesus to come into my heart.
"He is with me everywhere I go. It is exciting and cool knowing that He will never leave me. I don't have to face this world alone. Jesus has helped me make better choices at school and everywhere I go. It's still hard sometimes but I can hear Him telling me something is right or wrong. It's awesome having Him with me. And I can talk to Him whenever I want. I know He loves me because He died for me.
"I like going to church with my friends. The songs we sing here make me feel closer to God and I really like the small group time. The teachers are awesome. They ROCK!"
