Tiffanie’s Story

I've always known about Jesus. But there is a difference between knowing about Jesus and knowing Jesus.

I was raised in a Muslim family. When I was a teenager, I rebelled against my mother’s wishes and attended church with a really close friend. I gave my life to Jesus when I was 15. Since then I have felt the Holy Spirit’s leading in my life very strongly.

As an adult, I attended church with my husband and two children. When we moved to Savannah, I researched churches in the area and found Compassion Christian.

One service I felt the Holy Spirit call me to get baptized. I knew it was the right thing to do, and didn’t want my relationship with my mom to prevent me obeying the Lord and strengthening my relationship with Him.

Now I truly know that I am free. I don’t feel guilty about being a Christian and am very confident in where I stand in my relationship with God.

With our closest relatives over 1,000 miles away in Michigan, we have found our family here in this church. The relationships and support we have here came at just the right time. Thank you!
