About BE
BE stands for Blitz and Element. Blitz is our ministry for middle school students (Grades 6 - 8). Element is our ministry for high school students (Grades 9 - 12). Follow us on Facebook to find out more about what's going on!
Times
Weekends
Blitz and Element meet for small groups 9:15 and 11 a.m. Sundays. They will meet on the porch for games and then go upstairs with their leaders.
Wednesdays
Blitz and Element meet for a worship service 6:30 - 8 p.m. Wednesdays in the student building.
Mission
Our mission is to lead students to a life-changing connection with Jesus Christ through four simple steps:
- We want students to meet Jesus. (This happens in our large group environments and our fun ministry events. We hope to see students smiling, and we want them to enjoy each other’s presence. We want them to experience a Christian community.)
- We want students to trust Jesus. (This happens in our small group environments. We get to know our students, we listen to our students, and we pray for our students. We know step two is happening when students begin to share what’s happening in their lives with their small group leaders.)
- We want students to follow Jesus. (This happens when students begin to base their decisions on what they have learned from scripture and from their small group leaders. We know step three has happened when students are baptized, and when we see life application of scripture. Students begin to look more like Jesus.)
- We want students to share Jesus. (Participation in the gospel message is the clear indicator that the gospel has truly come alive within students. We know step four is happening when we see students showing compassion and meeting the needs of others whether at home, at school, or on a mission trip. The intended result is students who make it their life goal to share the love of Jesus.)
