Prayer
Our vision is to follow the Acts 1:14 model of the Disciples by “….join(ing) together constantly in prayer” for the purpose of drawing close to our God, seeking Him and His will and interceding for others. We believe that God chooses to move in response to our prayers. And we know, because His Word tells us in 1 John 5:14-15, that He hears us when we pray.
Monday Night Intercessory Prayer
Join with others at 6:30 p.m. at the Whitfield House* every Monday to pray for the ministry and staff of Compassion Christian Church, the prayer requests of the church body and for our community. Come and pray with those gathered or to be prayed for. There are no needs too great or too small for our God.
We meet every Monday night except major holidays.
*Whitfield House is located at the corner of 37th Street and Drayton. It is the yellow house on the corner. Park on the Drayton Street side of the building and come in the side door.
Undercover
Prior to the first service each Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, gather with others in the Prayer Room to pray for the Preaching Pastor and those making decisions for Christ during each service.
