Jayden’s Story
This story comes from Jayden's mother, Alisha Haywood, one of our church's members.
"My boys have been earning things for good behavior. Last week my youngest son, Jayden (7), asked me if he could earn a new pair of roller blades for our neighbor, a little girl. That melted my heart just to hear him ask. This past weekend he reminded me that we needed to go pick out the roller blades. Our neighbor was so happy and grateful. Her momma couldn't believe the act of kindness... I told her that Jayden wanted to work all week to earn them for her daughter. They don't go to church (yet) but I truly believe that actions of goodness, love and compassion speak louder than words and hopefully they'll be open to coming with us one day to SCC. I love the heart and spirit of a child!
