Statesboro Campus is Moving

Compassion Christian Statesboro, which opened in 2013, is moving into a new building on Cawana Road off Veterans Parkway.

The new building includes a 400-seat worship center, offices and spaces for children’s and student ministries. It also features a large lakeside patio for outdoor gatherings.

“We knew God was doing something amazing in this city, and He wanted us to be a part of it,” said Pastor Harrison Huxford. “We have met in several places, but we now have a place to call home. It’s a place where the music is a little loud, and Jesus is real. You’ll feel welcome right from the start.”

The new location is at 831 Cawana Road. The first services in the building are on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 9:15 and 11 a.m. The Statesboro congregation is part of a larger church with locations in Savannah, Rincon and Midway. Compassion Christian is one of the largest and fastest-growing churches in America.
