When Jesus came to earth, He intentionally impacted people’s lives. Everyone He encountered experienced struggles, sickness and difficult situations. But the messiness of their lives didn’t keep Jesus away. It compelled Him to draw even closer. That’s compassion.

Compassion is often underestimated or misunderstood. It’s not about knowing how to fix someone or their problems. It’s about giving our time, skills and resources to make a difference and then leaving the rest up to God.
