When you think of Jesus, do you think of him as gentle and peaceful? Or radical and revolutionary?

He was both.

Jesus came to earth to launch a world-changing movement. Jesus was a threat to the religious establishment, calling for dramatic, revolutionary change. His teachings were surprising and radical. He taught His followers to pray radical prayers, called them to radical commitment.
